Automation in industry and energy supply is one of the current topics of our time. ARTEMES has added the AM-2 data hub to its product range. With its compact DIN rail design and packed with a host of internal interfaces, it leaves hardly anything to be desired and can be expanded as desired in combination with external interface modules.
AM-2 data hub in the industry
Our AS-4 software uses the diverse interfaces of the AM-2 data hub and offers communication via Modbus (serial and Ethernet) and other project-specific protocols in addition to analogue and digital inputs. Digital and analogue outputs open the world to control tasks. The flexible ARTEMES WEB interface is used as the user interface. In addition to the local storage functions, the AS server or alternatively the Artemes cloud service can be used as the central data server.
AM-2 data hub in the microgrid
On the one hand, the AM-2 data hub works perfectly with the AM-2 and AM-3 series DIN-rail meters. In addition to energy measurement, these simple meters also offer 4-quadrant power measurement, simple harmonic and fault detection.
On the other hand, the AM-2 data hub integrates the AM-6 series, which are calibrated meters (MID) for billing purposes, into the ARTEMES monitoring environment. All large Artemes power analysers can also be used in the system.
As a controller, the AM-2 data hub takes over functions of data compression, local microgrid control and data forwarding via secure connections to central mounting systems.
