Passive Burden Resistor
The converter system delivers the converter output current to the 4 mm output terminals on the rear of the rack. Optional high-precision passive and active plug-in load modules with very low phase angle error are available for devices without current input terminals.
The active voltage output modules are powered by the MCTS rack via a 3-pin D-SUB connector. Passive plug-in load resistors are available from 1 Ω to 50 Ω.
The load resistance is limited by the converter and the length of the connecting cable.
Active plug-in load amplifiers are available for higher output voltages.
