Unbalanced high voltage probes - Passive high voltage probes
An unbalanced high voltage probe is usually used to measure ground reference signals up to 40 kV. However, some unbalanced probes are intended for devices with isolated or floating inputs when no measurements of ground reference signals are made.
Tektronix high voltage probes are characterised by the following features:
- Best bandwidth in the industry of up to 800 MHz
- Industry's best probe load with an input capacitance of an astonishingly low 1.8 pF
- The only products with a safety certificate issued by a third party (UL, CSA, ETL)
- Most comprehensive set of accessories for probes
Probe. IsolatedChannel™ applications P5150 and P5122.
In conjunction with digital storage oscilloscopes of the TPS2000 and THS3000 series, the P5150 and P5122 probes enable both isolation from earth for measurements and complete isolation between the channels.
The P5122 probe should not be used with TPS2000 series oscilloscopes for AC-coupled measurements of signals with a DC offset of more than 300 V.
