Faster - faster - faster .... This also applies to measurements in high and medium voltage. The reason for this is ever faster inverters (power quality) and new switch technologies (transient measurements). ARTEMES has therefore developed together withCondisthe focus was on the development of a measurement concept with which these rapid processes can be carried out correctly and comprehensibly.
CR divider in the MHz class
The latest CR divider techniques allow measurements in the range of several MHz.
The classical voltage dividers in switchgear have cut-off frequencies in the range of a few kHz. The new challenging frequency ranges up to 150 kHz (PQ) and those of transient phenomena (MHz) can therefore no longer be held with them.
The CR dividers, which were developed together with Condis, cover these frequency ranges in the voltage range of 36, 123 and soon also 400 kV.

Interference recorder up to 3.5 MHz
In addition to the corresponding dividers, one also needs corresponding measuring instruments, of course.
The new AM-55 series and the corresponding measuring amplifiers make it possible to configure measuring devices with up to 32 channels.
The software is, as usual, the proven AS-4 software - this allows gapless streaming in the MHz range. This means that transient recordings over several minutes are no problem. This unique feature is particularly important for the analysis of switching operations and start-ups in power plants.
Mapping transient recordings correctly
Measuring transients is one thing. Mapping it correctly is another. What does the flash response of a system really look like? What does the even sharper truncated flash look like? In many cases this has not been verified.
ARTEMES has verified this in the measuring chain CR divider (Condis) - 50m cable - disturbance recorder (AM-55, ARTEMES) and can therefore refer to a reliably functioning and verified interaction. We also take care of this - Relax, we Care!

Power quality up to 150 kHz
The new semiconductors make it possible to become even more efficient in the area of inverters. This is only possible through even faster switching cycles, and these take place in the range of several 10 kHz.
Standardisation has already reacted to this and PQ measurement methods up to 150 kHz have been defined (IEC 61000-4-30 idgF).
ARTEMES has also reacted to this and, together with the CR dividers from Condis, has made measurement possible in the medium and high voltage range as well.
Standard-compliant frequency packages in 200 Hz and 2 kHz steps - as well as online limit value comparisons - are among the programme features of the AS software.
